Summary:
The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a responsible individual to join our Wood Fabrication Unit.
This position is responsible for oversight of the production of custom and semi-custom wood goods while maintaining safety regulations.

- Trains and oversees inmate workforce in the day-to-day operation of the wood shops - Contacts vendors and customers when required - Connects with customers and vendors to ensure proper specifications and dimensions - Communicates with Quality Assurance Department to ensure policies compliance with operations control and other manufacturing departments - Prepares reports and cost estimates - Maintains workforce daily attendance, monthly work evaluations, and bimonthly payroll - Reviews, monitors and requisitions materials and supplies inventory levels - Attends staff training - Drives on State business - Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of:
- Supervisor techniques - Production methods and techniques - Equipment and materials used in various manufacturing centers - Security requirements and practices within a prison facility - ADCRR policies and procedures Skill in:
- Directing, supervising, and evaluating activities of inmate worker's skills applicable to the trade or production of the assigned manufacturing center to include operation and maintenance of production and manufacturing equipment and machinery utilized - Oral and written communications - Interpersonal - Interacting and communicating with vendors and internal or external customers Ability to:
- Lift/Carry 50lbs - Push/Pull 50lbs - Walk/Run.
25 miles - Operate office equipment - Supervise inmates and staff - Reconcile mathematical problems - Maintain schedules and inventory Selective Preference(s):

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver's license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver's license record checks.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
