Arizona PRN has been selected by a Florence, AZ correctional facility to screen and recruit a talented FNP for a temporary position that includes flexible day shifts with a $50 daily mileage allowance. Arizona PRN offers personal career support, health insurance and very competitive pay.
As a Correctional Facility Nurse Practitioner, you'll:
Provide general medical care and treatment to inmate patients under the direction of a physician:
Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Record physical findings, and formulate plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
Discuss case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
Prescribe or recommend drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Perform other related duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or related medical facility. Correctional experience preferred
Active Arizona State License or Compact License.
Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Current AP License.
Current DEA Number in Good Standing.
Prescribing and Dispensing Privileges
Healthcare Provider CPR
Ability to Pass Background Check/Clearance and Drug Screen Test
